Tags! And Categories
Not long after WordPress.com began we started calling categories “tags” in some places, most notably our global tags system.
However while our interface made it easy to add categories on the fly, many people were vocal in telling us that categories and tags were not the same thing, and eventually we figured out they were right. (Forgive us, we can be slow sometimes.)
What’s the difference...

Crazed Fan at Miss Venezuela 2007 Pageant
Apparently, at the recently concluded Miss Venezuela Pageant, a crazed fan jumped up on stage post-coronation and snatched the crown off of the head of lovely Miss Venezuela World, 21-year old Hannelys Quintero, who competed as Miss Cojedes. He then put the crown on himself and proceeded to wave to the audience. Gasp! I know there are many crazed pageant fans out there, but clearly there are...

Farah Angsana Couture - New York Fashion Week...
I was very privileged to attend Farah Angsana Couture at NYC Fashion Week. Farah Angsana is an established Parisian designer based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Her website has yet to be updated, but a review of a show several seasons ago reveals just how successful she has been in her career. A casual trawl through the Internet will also give you plenty of information about the designer.
The show...
Contestants for Miss Italia 2007
If you have some time, why not browse the one hundred and one (yes, 101) contestants taking part in the Miss Italia 2007 pageant here.
Very natural looking girls. Some are very beautiful. I loved this year’s Miss Italy at Miss Universe, Valentina Massi. I had her down to win at one point.
In general, the styling of these sequence of photos is lackluster. Hopefully, they’ll all have more oomph...

Personally, I think she’s overstyled in a lot of the photos - I’ve only included three that I feel are the best ones.

Fashion Week, NYC
So there I was all togged up in my vintage chocolate and maroon corduroy outfit waiting to get into the 3.1 Philip Lim show. But all in vain. They said there were too many people in the tiny hallway in the NYPL on 42nd street, so they were not going to let anyone in. Bummer. So we went to have a drink on the Lower East Side. Nice place that had all sorts of European beer. I asked for the...
